Episcopal Church Women (ECW)

The ECW is a women’s group though all are always welcome at our meetings and events.  All women of the Parish are members.

The mission of St. Paul’s Episcopal Churchwomen is to inspire women to serve the church and to do Christ’s ministry in the world.

We invite women of all ages to join us in Inreach activities that beautify and benefit the church, in Outreach activities that benefit the wider community, and in Spiritual Growth activities including fellowship, worship, education, and sharing.

The ECW meets monthly (usually the first Monday of the month), September through June, at 7pm.   Each meeting has a short program focused on one aspect of our mission.  Some typical programs in the recent past: mobility service dog project, planting native wildflowers, preparing cookies plates for shut-ins, serving at the Cor Unum Meal Center,  slide show on walking the Camino de Santiago Way, the practice of praying, history and use of a labyrinth, craft night, and setup for the church fair.

We have two major fundraisers that support our inreach and outreach activities – the Chili Cook-off and the Rummage sale.  Over the years, the ECW has provided kneelers, curtains, floor refinishing and floor runners, rug in the Narthex (porch), stove in the kitchen, and has made donations to a wide variety of Merrimack Valley service organizations especially those with a focus on women and children.

Please join us at a future meeting or just ask us or a woman in the congregation about the ECW.

Co-presidents, Paula Fines, Lili Fundeklian, and Anne Barney
